About the event
The jazzahead! Festival 2026 places a special focus on its partner country Sweden and its exceptional jazz scene. In the AI Impro Camp, improvisation artists from Gothenburg and Bremen come together and, based on climate data and with the help of artificial intelligence, develop new music in two working phases. As part of this project, which is being carried out for the first time, various events will take place in the lead-up to and during jazzahead!.
The AI Impro Camp is supported by Clubverstärker e.V. as part of the funding program Perspektivwechsel, with funds provided by the Senator for Culture. Lisen Rylander is a musician and composer from Sweden who works in the fields of jazz, free jazz, electronic music, experimental pop, and improvisation. Her main instrument is the saxophone, but her artistic practice often also includes voice, live electronics, and field recordings.
